From a dark room, coming into the sunlight, and the light hurts her. Arachne, looking for her familiar, but unsure of the form. Lucius: his first success with Vim. His Gift being damaged by a botch during the defense of Chenanceaux. The section of the Chenanceaux library with the works of Lucius, Lucius the Younger, Lucius III, and the open space waiting for him.
