      Produced by the Grid.
      Written by Norris/Ball.

[White, silver and black sticker (with cover art and credits)
is pasted front to back, to seal shut the entirely clear jewel
case. The seal has to be broken to open the case. It's a
neat looking package. The shape of the sticker is determined
by the layout of the art and text that radiate out from a hub
at 90 degree intervals on the front and the text runs in
different directions, akin to design work on other singles
      from the 456 album.]

Throb

[IMHO: Never released as a single, this track from the "Evolver"
album is certainly on par with 'Swampthing' and 'Rollercoaster',
and superior to 'Texas Cowboys', as a fun dance track. Similar
excursions into this dope-y and loopy and stomping Grid techno
dance sound include 'Bigfoot' on Trance Europe Express 3 (see
Compilations section), the UK dance remixes for Sparks' "When Do I
Get to Sing 'My Way'", and even 'Figure of 8' from "4-5-6". It
does not hurt that [Th]robert Fripp, the credited guitarist, keeps
the motor humming and purring and throbbing amidst the rhythmic
   tumult of this track.]

Do What You Wanna Do

[Not to be confused with Boomshanka's 'Do What U Wanna Do', or the
Lords of Acid's 'Do What You Wanna Do', this was supposed to have
been released Summer 1995, but appears to have been supplanted by
   the 'Diablo' single listed below.]

Diablo [produced by The Grid / written by Norris & Ball / synthesizers: David Ball / programming & keyboards: Richard Norris / vocals: Vanessa Quinones / trumpet: Guy Barker / percussion: Steve Sidelnyk] (deConstruction/BMG, UK, September 11, 1995) 12" [track times not confirmed] A1 6:31 *Diablo (The Devil Rides Out Mix) A2 5:17 *Diablo (The Devil Dubs Out Mix) B1 8:19 *Diablo (Acapulco Gold Mix) B2 7:34 **Diablo (Secret Knowledge Atomic Bidet Mix) CD, 74321308402 [paper sleeve] 3:52 *Diablo (Radio Mix) 6:31 *Diablo (The Devil Rides Out Mix) 5:17 *Diablo (The Devil Dubs Out Mix) 8:19 *Diablo (Acapulco Gold Mix) 7:34 **Diablo (Secret Knowledge Atomic Bidet Mix) [mixed/remixed by: *The Grid; **Kris Needs] (deConstruction/BMG, GE, September, 1995) 12" [track list n/a] [probably same as UK release] CD [track list n/a] [slimline jewelcase?] [probably same as UK release]
