Often cited for the breathtaking beauty of its scenery, Guilin has long attracted visitors to its famous "24 scenic spots," which include Yellow Cloth Shoal (Huangbu) and Nayun (Grasping Clouds) Pavilion on top of Mingyue Peak in Diecai Park

In addition, Guilin also has a Stele Forest, which houses 2000 pieces of these stone carvings and inscriptions, each concerning a different aspect of politics, history, science or calligraphy.
