In order to use Blackboard you must first have a BSC User Account. Instructions for claiming your user account can be found at http://it.bridgew.edu/Support/StudentGuide/UserAccounts/claimaccount.cfm

Claiming your user account gives you an email address, which will be used as your unique identifier in the Blackboard system. It takes approximately a day to create your email account, so you shouldn't try to activate your Blackboard account until the day after you claim your account.

Twenty four hours after you claim your user account you can activate your Blackboard account.

Follow the Account Registration link in the lower left hand corner of the BSC home page to activate your Blackboard account. (You can also use this link to claim your account.)
