I'm interested in machine learning and applied math stuff. I also think algorithms are pretty cool.
Here are some classes I took in the past two years:
Spring 2023
- 6.8200 (6.484) - Sensorimotor Learning
- Reinforcement learning and adjacent stuff is actually so cool. I wish the papers were less wishy washy with proofs though.
- 6.1800 (6.033) - System Design
- 6.8301 (6.819) - Computer Vision
- CMS.300 - Extending the Museums
- After taking this class I started thinking that museums were very cool.
Fall 2022
- 6.7900 (6.867) - Machine Learning
- 6.s898 - Deep Learning
- 6.191 (6.004) - Computation Structures
- CMS.300 - (Video)Game Studies
- I think video games are cool and talking about how they work is cool. I didn't really love how this class was structured.
Spring 2022
- 6.031 - Software Construction
- 18.650 - Statistics
- 21L.011 - Film Studies
- 6.850 - Geometric Computing
- I dropped this class at the very end for time reasons but I thought was very cool! A lot of these algorithms are fossils, but it was fun to interactively implement them.
Fall 2021
- 6.864 - Advanced Natural Language Processing
- This field is so cool but I wish this class had been better organized.
- 6.215 - Optimization Methods
- 18.404 - Theory of Computation
- I don't think I took away any practical skills from this class but it was so much fun and I remember it very fondly.
- 18.600 - Probability and Random Variables
- Before I took this class, I was absolutely terrible at probability. After studying it more seriously, I actually started to understand how to use it and that was very cool!
Spring 2021
- 6.046 - Design and Analysis of Algorithms
- At the time I didn't like this class but I've changed my opinion since.
- Some other stuff that was not that interesting
Fall 2020
- 6.006 - Introduction to Algorithms
- This class was really fun.
