Instructor in Supply Chain Management
In addition to research and his core responsibilities at CTL, Jim has served as an instructor for the graduate course "Supply Chain Context" in MIT's Master of Engineering in Logistics academic program. The course introduces the functions of the business and relates them to the supply chain within the business. A combination of cases and lectures illustrate various analytical frameworks and their application to supply chains and business management.

Jim oversees the CTL Executive Education programs, designing, marketing, executing and also teaching in the CTL courses.

Jim also has an appointment as Visiting Faculty Member, Politecnico di Milano MBA School (MIP) where he teaches in the Supply Chain Management course (since 2006 to the present).
