Allen is from New York City. He is currently a sophomore majoring in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at MIT. Allen is interested in practical applications of nanotechnology research, specifically using the thermal and electric properties of materials to design efficient machinery. He has also joined the New Engineering Education Transformation program at MIT under the Autonomous Machines track.
