Research Fellow / Postdoctoral Associate
The Petroleum Engineering and Geosciences group in the Center
for Offshore Research and Engineering at NUS invites applications
for one postdoctoral position in computational geophysics, with focus
on research topics of the following areas: wave simulation, inverse
problem, sparse recovery, compressive sensing, uncertainty quantification.
Candidates are expected to have a good background in geophysics or
applied mathematics solving inverse problems. Expertise in high performance
computing is desirable. The position may be offered for 1 or 2 years.

Graduate Students
We constantly look for motivated individuals who is interested
in joining the Petroleum Engineering and Geosciences group for
Ph.D. thesis study. Refer to

are provided with scholarships and financial aids.
Summer Interns
The Petroleum Engineering and Geosciences group invites a summer
intern for 2 or 3 month each year. The successful applicant is
expected to work on a project closely with the group's research
interest.
The position is open to all master and Ph.D. students. A stipend will
be provided to cover local expense. The internship can take place during
the summer, but there is some flexibility in the dates.
