The MIT Tango Club invites you to join us at our Free Thursday Night Practica, open to the public and to all experience levels, where you can come to explore tango dancing for the first (or the nth!) time.

In addition, MIT hosts tango Classes, where you can learn to dance from some of the community's finest instructors.

Finally, we hope that you will come out for our Milongas (tango dance parties), where dancers of all levels tather to enjoy evenings of laughter, refreshments, and of course, dancing!

MIT Tango Club is looking for Officers, Volunteers and Practica Hosts!

You don't need to be an experienced dancer to be an Officer and/or Volunteer. Volunteers help setting/cleaning up milongas, stay at the door for brief time periods in milongas, post flyers, order food etc.

To be an officer you should be an MIT student, currently we need somebody to do the reservations and sign up the events. But we can always come up with more if you would like to join the club board. (In time you will be the treasurer and then the president)

Being a practica host means that you get to DJ for 3 hours in club's practicas. We have an extensive mp3 collection, you will have access to it if you became a host. We are more than 10 now, so you will be doing it once in every ~3 months.
