My New Office
Worth $280 million. Lots of people hate it (Stata Center). I like the interiors, I think they'll grow on me even more. In general, the building has grown on me. Until we moved in (about a month ago) I thought it was hideous and a horrible waste of money. Now I only think that it was a tad costly.
Lots of funny stories about the building are already becoming part of the lore. Will write about them later. Here's one: Richard Stallman (of GNU and Free Software Foundation fame) has an office in Gates Tower. He prefers if we called it Minas Morgul.
