I received my Ph.D. in mechanical and ocean engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) under the supervision of Prof. Dick K.P. Yue in 2016. And I am now a postdoctoral associate at MIT, working with Prof. Pierre F.J. Lermusiaux and Dr. Tian Tian. My research is primarily concerned with theoretical and computational fluid dynamics, with applications ranging from geophysical scales to micro scales. The research topics include nonlinear ocean wave mechanics, geophysical flows, ocean renewable energy, propeller and biomimetic foil propulsion, and fluid-film lubrication. I will join the Department of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering at University of Michigan, Ann Arbor as an assistant professor in September 2018. Here is my curriculum vitae.
