To illuminate the long view,
1. All arrive in black, to a set table.
2. The candles are lit: 6 around a single center, with the larger light held apart, Keeper of the Epiphany flame.
3. All other lights extinguished.
4. Roles are read.
5. Costumes are selected.
6. Uncharacteristically large pieces of lasagna are served.
7. When the almond is found, the discoverer selects a new role to embody. The other guests attempt to persuade the chooser to select one of the roles, specifically not the one of their initial choosing. The chooser may decide whether to follow their initial selection or heed the wisdom of the crowd.
8. When a new role is assumed, costume is changed in reflection of the switch.
9. The practice is continuously recorded and so iterated upon as fit.
10. Lights are extinguished to draw the Epiphany to a close.
11. The first seven are extinguished after all guests share a reflection from inhabiting their role. Then, the Keeper of the Epiphany flame is extinguished by one elected guest. All sit in total silence. The Epiphany feast is then ended by exuberant clapping from all members of the group and until all cease.
12. The Epiphany feast and characters shall be prepared the day prior to prevent depletion on the day of the feast.
