Two sturdy wool cloaks, light grey in color, and unadorned except for the iron clasp. On the inside of the clasp are tiny etchings: the symbols of Creo and Ignem on the left, the symbol of Order, Bonisagus, and Lucius IV on the right.
When worn, these cloaks keep you quite warm, even in severely cold weather.

On the ground, the Welcome Mat, large enough to carry 3 horses abreast, looks little more than swept up rock with a small fence around it. Clamped on to its sides are wooden posts, which connect around, which wouldn't stop a small child from slipping in, but may prevent a cautious travellor from slipping out. The rail opens on either narrow end, so as to allow horses to walk in face first then exit face first, and of course, any travellor to do the same.
On all four sides, along the posts, are hung rope long enough to throw the lenghts of 4 men, and along the two narrow sides, off the swinging entrances, are hung rope ladders with wooden steps.
In the inside center, off of thin stone stalagtite, growing out of the right-center of the Welcome Mat, is sheer, soft stone slab no larger than the size of a book. On it is carved the symbol of the order, and the symbol of the covenant, and between them are the words, vertically, are carved in Latin the words "aumentem" (rise), "arrestem" (stop), and "cadutem" (fall). When either is pressed, the Welcome Mat makes a low hum, and, almost impercetively, flecks of light come streaming towards the panel from the surrounding air, leaving little dots of darkness, for a mere instant, in its place. When the aumentem is pressed, the Welcome Mat will rise slowly, at a comfortable rate, when arrestem is pressed, it will stop, and after setting, hold its position, where ever it was, without rising or falling, and when cadutem is pressed, it will fall gently, like water down a tilted log.
