Power Spectra
Left: A log-log plot the power spectrum of the holographic fluid flow, together with lines corresponding to the two indicated power laws. The approximate Kolmogorov structure over a small inertial range is typical of decaying turbulent flows. Since the system is not driven, we should not expect to see full Kolmogorov scaling, and indeed the higher structure functions do not exhibit Kolmogorov behavior.
Right: A log-log plot of the ratio of the horizon curvature spectrum to the fluid power spectrum. Apart from transient finite-size effects at early time, the spectra agree extremely well, differing only by an overall k^2 factor. This relationship can be derived analytically in the fluid/gravity regime.
