Hello! My name is Zhengmao Lu. I am currently a postdoctoral associate in Prof. Jeffrey Grossman's research group in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Previously, I did my PhD in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at MIT, advised by Prof. Evelyn Wang. My PhD thesis has focused on fundamentally understanding evaporation kinetics with the help of micro/nanoengineering. I am generally interested in water and energy applications of nanomaterials. I like to use both experimental and theoretical approaches to solve problems.
