When my daughter Christiana was
young, I often made up cat-related bedtime stories for her. (Cats were
her favorite animal.) We both remembered some of the stories fondly. In
the Summer of 2005, when Christiana was 14, we traveled together for a
couple of weeks, and took that opportunity to recreate and write down
some "Christiana in Catlandia" bedtime stories. In the book cover
photo, she is 4 years old. As you can see, she is wearing her very best
cat-patterned face-paint! We hope you and your children like the stories.
