I originally sent this on the first day, but Netscape crashed at the time:
I thought it had come through, but in going back it looks like no. Here
    goes...

    www.cooper.edu/art/techno/

This site has some forty exhibits by grad students at Cooper Union. A
number use the web as a display medium with varying degrees of
sucesss. I find the most interesting projects in terms of this class
use the web as a tool to produce the eventual result, whilst the
poorer projects still seem to be using the web as an end in itself, a
creation about the medium, not merely in it. The worst ones appear to
be unaware of the unique properties of the web, and instead appear to
be attempting to recreate some other medium, be it an essay (an
essentially linear, text based medium) or a painting (with no degree
in interactivity), ignoring the properties and advantages that
    the medium allows.
