    This site contains a map of the world that has major cities
    marked off. Each of the marked cities is a link to a page
    where you can see an image taken from a live video camera
    placed somewhere in that city.

    I chose this site because it is an interesting use of media
    on the web. Since the web itself is a form of media, I also
    thought that this site was relevant to the study of media
    since it combines two forms of media. This site is an
    indication of the possiblities for world-wide communication
    by allowing anyone in the world to view another part of the
    world at any time.

    There's even one of the Charles River!
