Whereas forms of communication media are often ignored in view of their
"content", forms of artistic media are usually specifically studied. However,
in learning an art form, its relation to content is sometimes neglected.
When I set out to search the web, I wanted to find a page relating to
an art form media. In particular, I was looking for something weaving related
preferably in a past setting. The page I have chosen is a critique of a show
of Native Californian basket weavings. The author recognizes basket weaving
as medium in itself and points out the relation it has with the artists'
physical and spiritual lives as content of the medium.

I am sure the actual exhibit is far more interesting than the one little
web-page about it, but I hope this page is in an appropriate vein. (Ok...
so what if it is about basket-weaving?)
