Informatics for business improvement district operation with Grand Central Partnership.

This project is sponsored by Bloomberg Data for Good Excahnge 2016.

Every year, Bloomberg’s Data for Good Exchange (D4GX) explores how data science research in New York City’s universities can be used to impact the public sector. In 2017, eight data scientists selected by Bloomberg to participate in the program, with a focus on governance and community-driven missions in major cities in the U.S. and overseas: New York, Philadelphia, Paris and Bogotá, Colombia. As a Data Science Immersion Fellow, I worked with the Grand Central Partnership (GCP), one of the largest business improvement districts in the world. Working with GCP's operation team, we explored the data generated from their daily operation and identified key insights and analytical routine for better data-driven management.
