I am a Research Scientist in Robert Desimone lab at McGovern Institute for Brain Research, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

I use fMRI to study functional organization of visual cortex in human and non-human primates.

From 2005 to 2008, I was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Roger Tootell lab at NMR Martinos Center, Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), Harvard Medical School.

From 2001 to 2004, I was a Researcher in Hossein Esteky lab at IPM School of Cognitive Sciences, Institute for Research in Fundamental Sciences in Tehran.

I received my M.D. from Iran University of Medical Sciences (IUMS) in 2004. My M.D. thesis was about psychophysical investigation of visual awareness.
