In Placeholder Day Town, the rebellious high school students trade some very strange looking cards.

The new trading card game, Anima Oratorio, is all the rage in Placeholder Day Town. You buy a standard starter pack to join the hype train.

Two young ladies approach you and barely let you get a word in!

C:	“Hey! Newbie. This is your golden opportunity to obtain a number of very rare Anima Oratorio Shadows.”
J:	“Please excuse my sister. It can sometimes feel like she’s trying to take your head off. But we do wish to trade cards with you. Yes, ‘Shadows’ are what non-players would call ‘cards.’”
C:	“Since there are two of us, you must offer two Shadows at a time. You think that’s unfair? . . . It’s not like we want to trade with you anyway!”
J:	“These Shadows have the extra attribute of rarity.”
C:	“What you give is what you get, understood?!”
J:	“The two Shadows you give us will determine the Shadow we offer you. Different pairings result in different trades.”
C:	“So don’t come up with something lame! We’re legit players and have a complete compendium of the standard 191 Shadows. No matter what you offer us, we’ll offer you what they’re worth.”
J:	“That also means you should set your expectations correctly. We do not play with expansion packs and you should not either. No, seriously. Make absolutely sure you do not use any expansion cards.”
C:	“When you’ve figured out how you want to trade your Shadows, look up and come find us. And be grateful that we’re so nice!”

They sure do talk a lot. Fortunately, there’s a placard on the wall with more concise rules:

You must trade your 40 Shadows to receive 20 new Shadows, none of which can be a Shadow you started with.
The new Shadows must all have different levels from each other.
The set of new Shadows must have the exact same Types as the set of Shadows you started with.
Every new Shadow must have a higher level than the two Shadows traded for it.
The rarity of a new Shadow is calculated by adding the rarities of the two Shadows traded for it, and then subtracting 10.
