The Space Elevator

The Space Elevator was built to continuously ferry materials and personnel into orbit without rockets, using climbing platforms that go down and up and down on a cable. The International Space Elevator Consortium requests that, for your safety in loading technological products onto the Space Elevator, you put them in the following order, according to the names of the relevant technologies:

  • The technology with the shortest name (in letters)
  • The technology whose name is composed of the most words
  • The technology whose name contains a conjunction
  • The technology whose name contains an article
  • The technology whose name alternates between vowels and consonants
  • The technology whose name contains a non-final Y
  • Any technologies that do not meet any of the other criteria listed here, in alphabetical order
  • The technology whose name contains no repeated letters
  • The technology whose name contains a repeated trigram
  • The technology with the longest name (in letters)
