Subservient Chicken Loves the '80s

Puzzle by Trip Payne
Cinematography by Brian Dominy
Flash programming by Mike Attisha
And starring Chuckie Chicken as Himself

Solvers must input the names of various 1980s music artists into the text field below the video screen.  If the artist is not one of the ones that Chuckie made a video for, he gives a "no" gesture, and the screen goes back to the default video.  If it is one of the artists he worked for, he gives various congratulatory gestures and then clips from the appropriate video play.

Once a specific video has been identified, its title can be uniquely placed in one of the rows of boxes.  The acts and videos are:

Madonna: VO(G)UE
Lionel Richie: DANCING (O)N THE CEILING
Cher: IF I COU(L)D TURN BACK TIME
Dead or Alive: YOU SPIN ME ROUN(D) LIKE A RECORD

The shaded letters (here in parentheses) spell GOLDEN EARRING'S FIRST HIT, which leads to the answer RADAR LOVE.  (Wikipedia and other sources list songs Golden Earring recorded prior to "Radar Love", but according to The Billboard Book of Top 40 Hits, that was their first top-40 single in this country.)
