Peg O' My Heart

Answer: CATCH

The 5X5 grid represents a set of cribbage cards. Using standard
alphanumberic substitution, where 11 = J, 12 = Q, 13 = K, etc.,
score the columns left to right or top to bottom and get a single
letter (A=1, B=2). The color of the number depicts the suit of the
card (to aid in determing flushes and the like).

We are only counting points from the show, so any points that might be
earned in the pegging phase (e.g. right jack as a starter) are ignored.

Scores:
J 6 4 Q K = 3 = Run of three (C)
Q J 4 3 7 = 1 = Nobs (A)
9 8 7 9 7 = 20 = Double Double run with 2 fifteens (T)
K 2 7 J 7 = 3 = Pair and Nobs (C)
2 3 4 K 5 = 8 = Run of four with 2 fifteens (H)

Or Vertically:
J Q 9 K 2 = 3 = Run of three (C)
6 J 8 2 3 = 1 = Nobs (A)
4 4 7 7 4 = 20 = Pair of 7s, Pair Royal of 4s, and 6 fifteens (T)
Q 3 9 J K = 3 = Run of Three (C)
K 7 7 7 5 = 8 = Pair Royal and 1 Fifteen (H)

Either vertically or horizontally, the resulting word is CATCH.
