A lockable microphone cabinet designed to prevent theft at a community center. Features foam inserts, charging clearance, and a welded aluminum door frame.
Cut pine panels and assembled with box joints and wood glue. Shelves were set into dado slots for strength.
1x1x⅛ aluminum angle was mitered, seam welded, and fitted to a ⅛” aluminum panel with ventilation holes.
Mounted into wall stud with heavy screws; secured with combination lock. Foam inserts cut with a hot knife.
