I'm a research associate at MIT working on human centered autonomous vehicles.
I write a blog about brains.
I'm TAing 6.S094: Deep Learning for Self-driving Cars in January 2019.
I'm TAing 6.S091: Deep Reinforcement Learning in January 2019.
I'm TAing 6.S093: Human Centered Artificial Intelligence in January 2019.
I'm a competitive middle distance runner. I like fly fishing, bird hunting, and cross country skiing.
What I'm doing here:
- Non-verbal Communication & Autonomous Vehicles: I'm studying how pedestrians and autonomous vehicles can communicate to safely and efficiently travel through intersections.
What I've done in the past:
- @Dartmouth CCNLab: I worked on computational models of spiking neural networks to understanding the neural mechanisms underlying decision making and learning.
- @VideoAmp: I designed a product helping helping to solve the combinatorial optimization problems in video advertising, using large scale data and machine learning.
My research interests include:
- Artificial Intelligence
- Computational Neuroscience
- Cognitive Science
