Autumn 2008

This page contains the syllabus and homework for math 126, Autumn 2008. The homework problems pertinent to the lecture material are listed below. Your instructor will announce the due dates. Your instructor reserves the right to make adjustments to homework problems during the quarter, if for example the lectures get a bit ahead or behind the schedule below. These changes will be announced in class, and we will try to keep this page as current as possible. You can print this schedule using the "printer friendly format" link at the bottom of the page.

Texts:
1. Calculus, 6th edition, by Stewart.
This is a custom edition available in the University Bookstore. There are two volumes: Vol. 1 covers Math 124/5; Vol. 2 covers Math 126/324. If you own the 5th edition of Stewart Calculus (Early Transcendentals), you can still use that text during the 2008-09 academic year. However, it requires additional work on your part. Namely, you will need to access the textbook exercise sets in the 6th edition, since the 6th edition text is used for all textbook homework problems in Math 124/5/6 and 324. To access Stewart 6th edition exercises, click here .

2. and Taylor Notes (TN),
which can be printed from this link. Please let your instructor know
if you have any difficulty printing this material. You should bring a
copy of the appropriate worksheet to the quiz sections as listed below.
