Hullo! This is a project that I’ve been wanting to do since four years ago, but I’ve never had the time to implement it until now. But this page ↗︎ exists! I hope this will serve as more of an archive of thoughts, expository notes, and life in general if I remember to document things. Specifically,

• I like talking about math, and I want to share my thoughts about math;
• I used to document my life more, and I would like to get back into it;
• I have lots of thoughts, including a music analysis of “Weathertop” ↗︎ from The Lord of the Rings that I wrote as part of a music theory analysis project class at MIT,¹ and I want a place to put that once I polish it up more;
• I like talking about Doctor Who;²
• I really like this footnote feature that I made³ and I want an excuse to use it more.

This is a personal project for me. I want to write about math and get better at communicating math because you can always improve your communication skills regardless of how many speeches you gave or how many conferences you presented at or how many papers you wrote. I am also a newly knighted graduate student in mathematics, so I think this is worthwhile and meaningful for me to document my life as a graduate student (including its ups and downs) and my capricious feelings of pursuing academia or industry. More importantly, this is going to be a place where I can organize my thoughts and talk about things I like.⁴

Thanks for being here. I hope you enjoy!
