I'm a visiting student at MIT doing research on human centered autonomous vehicles. In Germany, I am pursuing my Masters degree in Software Engineering at the Technical University in Munich.

My research revolves around understanding human elements relevant to autonomous vehicles. Specifically, I have been researching the role of drivers as a communication partner with other road users and the implications of drivers' absence on pedestrian-vehicle-interactions at crosswalks.

Currently, I'm TAing 6.S093: Human Centered Artificial Intelligence in January 2019 and doing research on emotion recognition using deep learning methods.
