Tuesday cycle?
The class voted to have the Homework due on Tuesday mornings instead of Thursday. Thus, the homework assigned today will be due on Tuesday.

How do you optimize a catenary?
How do you find the perfect angle for a truss?
How do you optimize the members of a truss?
YOU must supply a "ring." [a loading point] and all bridge building materials.
The scale will be available to weigh "structural elements" by finding the TA - Michelle (Studio 7)
Weights will be available in 5-418 during daytime working hours.
Bridge "abutment" is only 18 inches wide.
The free span is 30 inches - thus be sure to make your bridge longer than 30 inches. The maximum length is 38 inches.
