Day 5: Announcements
Site Updating
A number of queries have been directed to the teaching team concerning the "dynamic" nature of the web site. During a lecture there are times when it is apparent that the class does not completly understand a point or concept as it is described at that moment. In order to clarify these point, I then reconsider how to illustrate them and then add the material to the lecture topic. So that you know when I do this, I will now send out an E-Mail messge to the entire class notifying you of updates/additions.
Homework
- Thank you Ms. Maddox for suggesting improvements to the homework diagrams!
- Solutions will be available to all assigned numerical problems after due date beginning next week. This will include previously assigned numerical problems as well.
- Electronic Submissions no longer an option - waiting for Departmental disks so that we can have a course locker for improved efficiency
- All ASSIGNED Homework will be collected on Thursday
- Use Web page print-out if convenient
- Additional problems are not additional work. They are only there as a medium for exercise - like the problems at the end of a chapter in a book. Some are assigned - they will never change - and others are added as I think of ways to better illustrate a point.
Case Studies
- Graduate Students - 3/0/6. Case Study Optional
- Undergrad Students - 3/3/6.
- CHOOSE ONE and submit. First come - first choice
Stability
