everything in this list is relative to ~nocturne
(~nocturne == /afs/athena.mit.edu/user/n/o/nocturne)
Public - contains a tips file, not much else. Public.
Public/lyrics - lots of lyrics that I like.
bin - this is a symlink to the appropriate bindir.
bitmaps - duh.
dotfiles - contains most of my configuration files...
home - this is what I *actually* use for ~
home/src - random source code.
home/elisp - emacs lisp files. The real stuff of my .emacs is here.
pics - GIF and JPG pictures.
pics/tori - pictures of Tori Amos - a musician I like.
randomtext - all sorts of text files. Neat stuff.
scripts - random scripts from all over...
www - symlink to my www directory

private directories:
home -- this is because there are programs like zctl that are rude
about modifying files like zephyr.subs if such files are
symlinks, and I wish to keep my private classes PRIVATE.
If you can't read something there, ask me about it. I'll
either tell you why it's private or correct my mistake.
(most of the files in ~/home are symlinks to dotfiles or Public)
