Cosmic Power Suite

Cosmicc Power Suite Logo Cosmic Power Suite is where I lived in South Dorm during my senior year at Harvey Mudd College. Suites at Mudd often have names, and ours had a new twist on an old name. 2 years previous, the suite we occupied was called Power Suite, because everyone living in the suite was a dorm officer. The four of us in the suite, that being me, Jim Frinier, Ocie Mitchell, and Denis Moskowitz, were also all dorm officers. However, we had more than just that going for us. We also had a number of religious/ quasi-religious/ not-just-a-religion-but-a-way-of-life associations in the suite, including UU, ULC, Discordianism, SubGenius, the Illuminati, the Tristero, Unicycling, The Purple Arrow, Buddhism, Centaur, Jonism, and various other things to numerous to mention or even remember at this moment. We figured we were pretty well aligned with whatever is or isn't Out There, so we wanted to reflect that in our name. Rooms in South are very small, so we agreed that the Genii's line in Aladdin of "phenomenal cosmic powers, itty bitty living space" fit us wonderfully, and thus our name was created.
