School Daze
I finally finished 19th grade, and escaped with an S.M. in Civil and
Environmental Engineering from M.I.T. Isn't it interesting that
M.I.T. uses the Latin abbreviation for the Master of Science degree?
Coincidence? I think not! Anyway, my rundown:
Degrees:
- S.M., Civil and
Environmental Engineering, MIT
- My old Old School.
- B.S., Individual Program of Studies in Geology, Harvey Mudd College
- My older Old School.
Alumni Associations:
- Harvey Mudd College Alumni
Association
- I've found myself being one of SysAdmins for the HMC Alumni
Association's computer.
- M.I.T. Alumni Association
- Membership has its privileges.
Other schools with whom I've been associated
- Pomona
College Geology
- Mudd doesn't have a geology program, hence the I.P.S. Pomona
doesn't have a B.S. program, hence Mudd. Pomona has geology,
hence geology.
- Pitzer College
- I'm their Webmistress Emerita. What was that about
power-crazed sysadmins being born that way? Never took a class
there, but working there made up for that.
- Claremont McKenna College
- I took a couple classes there, so it counts!
- Fullerton College
- (Find the URL, Jennie!) I took Calculus at FC during my senior
year in High School, and Physical Geology the next summer.
- Mount San Antonio College (Mt. SAC)
- My first college class was an introductory physics course the
summer after my junior year in high school.
- La Habra High School
- My High School
- Imperial Middle School
- Most cities call them Junior Highs....
- Walnut Elementary School
- Go Trojans!
- El Cerrito Elementary School
- It still has the coolest jungle gyms I've played on.
