The Lurker's Verses

He walked in her footsteps;
	the man in black.
	The no-name being.
He saw her always;
	the seer/prophet
	and historian of magnitude.
He sees all that happens
	and all that will.
	The old, laughing soothsayer.
Where does he go?
From where does he come?
	In the dream,
	maybe the fire-starter,
	or the shadow of the mind.
	Derelict being.
His face depicts evil;
	the man of danger,
	the man in black.
In the darkness
	he will be there.
	He will find her.
	He always does and will.
	He always does and will.
Do not cross through his path;
	for he is death.
	He is the one who travels
	 the seas of space.
	Do not cross his path;
	for he is the one.
The Spy of Night.
	The recluse of conciousness.
	See him only in your feelings;
	the way-back of your head.
See him, but do not
	Fear him.
	Fear him,
	for if you die by his sword,
	there will be nothing after.
Depiction of Satan.
	Beelzebub with a snout.
	The Lurker.
	The Lurker.
Touch not his shroud of darkness,
	it is the skin of someone's soul.
Upon your door one day he knocks.
	He will find her.
	The Lurker will find her.
	He always does and will.
	He always does.
	And will.
