I am on the 2023-2024 academic job market. I am a final-year Ph.D. student at MIT CSAIL, advised by Prof. Dina Katabi. Before joining MIT, I received my B.S. with honors from Peking University. My research is supported by Takeda Fellowship, Baidu Fellowship, and MathWorks Fellowship.

My research lies in the intersection of machine learning and applications in human disease, health and medicine.

  • AI for Disease and Medicine: AI enabled discovery of biomarkers for complex human diseases (e.g., Parkinson's), from early diagnosis [Nature Medicine'22] to longitudinal progression [Science Trans. Medicine'22].
  • Intelligent Health Sensing: AI systems for healthcare delivery beyond clinics, e.g., in-home disease monitoring [Front. Psychiatry'21], contactless sleep and vitals sensing [UbiComp'20, WACV'24].
  • Trustworthy Machine Learning: Principled algorithms for reliable ML in the wild, from unbiased learning [ICML'21 oral], representation learning [ICLR'23 oral], algorithmic fairness [ICML'23], to OOD generalization [ECCV'22].

I am actively looking for self-motivated undergrad / graduate students. Feel free to shoot me an email.
