I am currently a postdoctoral associate working with Prof. Raffaele Ferrari at MIT. Under the supervision of Prof. Andrew Thompson, I received my PhD in March 2019 in Environmental Science and Engineering with a minor in Applied and Computational Mathematics from Caltech. I am interested in understanding how small-scale oceanic boundary layer processes influence larger-scale ocean circulation and climate.  I use a combination of theoretical fluid dynamics, numerical modeling and analysis of observations to tackle these problems.

Research interests:
Geophysical fluid dynamics
Southern Ocean dynamics
Observational oceanography
