Women's Studies Around Boston

Recently the MIT Program in Women’s Studies will be made a few changes to Women’s Studies Around Boston. We hope that these changes will increase our reader base and make it easier for everyone to learn about the exciting Women’s Studies events and opportunities in and around Boston.

1. In an effort to cover events year round instead of just during the academic year, our November/ December issue will now include ‘January Highlights’ and our April/May issue will now include ‘Summer Highlights.’
2. We will be sending out a weekly listing of Women’s Studies events and opportunities via email. This list will include events from Women’s Studies Around Boston and events that were not published in our newsletter either because the event information was not available at the time of publication or because the event costs money. If you wish to be on this email list please send an email to womens-studies@mit.edu.
3. In order to conserve paper and keep our costs down, we would like to increase use of our website, web.mit.edu/womens-studies/www. An HTML and PDF version of Women’s Studies Around Boston, in addition to an ‘Event Updates’ page, is posted on our site. Each time a new issue is posted we send email to readers so that they can visit our site and print their own copy. If you would like to be on this email list please send an email to womens-studies@mit.edu. We will then take you off our printed mailing list.
