This is a compact aluminum computer workstation desk I built, with integral dual 19 inch LCD monitors. Tip: most modern LCD monitors have pretty metal cases inside the ugly plastic ones. But removing the plastic undoubtedly voids any warranty...

| Detail behind the LCDs. Turnbuckles are included for monitor height adjustment in a parallelogram mechanism. The two vertical arms connect only to the center LCD; the right LCD is hinged off of that. Thus there is a clockwise (when facing the center monitor) moment load on the arms, which is held by the turnbuckles. The near (left when facing the monitor) pair of turnbuckles pull down, and the far pair pull up. |
