Vitaly Abdrashitov

Ph.D. Candidate, EECS, MIT

I am currently a Graduate Student at the Research Laboratory of Electronics (RLE), Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

I am supervised by Professor Muriel Médard in the Network Coding and Reliable Communication Group.

I received my BS and MS degrees with honours from the Department of Radio Engineering and Cybernetics at Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT) in 2009 and 2011.

My research interests include:

  • Distributed data storage
  • Information theory and coding theory
  • Machine Learning
  • Information security and cryptography
  • Wireless Communication and networks
