My name is Tae-Sik Lee, and I was born in Seoul, Korea on the 16th of August, 1974.
After graduating from Seoul National University with a bachelor's degree, I came to the United States in the summer of 1997. Coming to the States, or actually, applying to graduate schools, is the last thing I want to do again in my life. Thank God, I was lucky.
I'm a second year graduate student at MIT. I've been working with Professor Nam P. Suh in the area of Axiomatic Design theory. As people say, yeah, there are always 'ups and downs'. Getting frustrated and then feeling so happy about the research. It's just a normal graduate student's life, I think.
I love hanging around with my fellow friends. Playing basketball, sitting in a bar, chattering about everything in the world,... everything with them is just a great pleasure.
