Bullet impact

22 Caliber water entry
This video is a side view image of a 0.22 caliber bullet hitting the water with nearly 0º angle of attack.  The bullets are standard velocity ~1200 fps.  The silhouette of a camera can be seen in the right hand side of the video.  A droplet falling from the ceiling has made a jet of fluid in the center of the screen and the bullet comes and goes before the droplet appears to move!  This video is taken at ~25,000 fps.
This video is a side view image of the same bullet impact,  however it is much closer to the surface, it is above the water slightly, and the frame rate is now ~125,000 fps.  The angle of entry appears to be less than zero, but the angle of attack is about 6º.
This video is a off-axis top view and only contains a few frames at 2,000 fps.  However it is interesting to see the bullet impact from slightly behind the impact point.
These videos also show an impacting 0.22 caliber bullet, however, this one is made of aluminum.  Although both types have the same weight this one is much longer, and has a very blunt tip.  Notice how easily it enters the
water. [2000 fps]
This video shows the blunt shaped 0.22 entering the water from the same angle and frame rate as above. Notice the distinct cavity and splash formation.  Here the camera is running at ~125,000 fps.
