Time-Dependent Quantum Mechanics and Spectroscopy

These are lectures on time-dependent quantum mechanics developed for a graduate level chemistry course that focuses on condensed phase spectroscopy, dynamics, and relaxation. The topics include perturbation theory, two-level systems, light-matter interactions and spectroscopy, relaxation in quantum systems, correlation functions, linear response theory, and nonlinear spectroscopy.

The original notes as presented in the class are posted on MIT’s OpenCourseWare site and are available for use under MIT’s license. Since the course content changes, I will post the most recent and complete PDF version of the notes here. Also, I am now including MathCad 14 worksheets (as XMCD or PDF) that can be used as additional resources for the material.
