Salman Salamatian

I completed my PhD in the EECS department at MIT, under the supervision of Muriel Médard. In my research, I aim to quantify privacy and security threats in the era of big data, and to design methods and algorithms which provide statistical privacy. To this end, I use tools from Information Theory, Machine Learning and Statistics, and Signal Processing. I am currently a Quantitive Researcher at The D.E. Shaw Group!
