There is new leader heading into the last weekend of regular season meets. SUNY-Cortland has overtaken Ithaca for the lead in the rankings and now that Gustavus has a home score, they are no longer at the bottom. The top three schools in the East (Cortland, Ithaca and Ursinus) have no more regular season meets, so that gives the other teams one more meet to close the gap. Most teams in the Midwest also have one regular season meet left, so there could be some shuffling in the rankings after next weekend. It is also important to keep in mind that the Regional meet will count as 60% and the overall ranking by SAS will only count as 40% when determining the team and individual qualifiers to Nationals, so there is still a lot of uncertainty with the scores being so close. It will come down to who hits at the Regional meet. Check out the EVENT RANKINGS as well for individual events.
