February 3rd, 2004 - e-Newsletter No. 2
Greetings from campus!
This is the second installment of the NCGA e-Newsletter, a short e-mail (hopefully) that will keep you updated on what is going on so far with the NCGA and heading into the 20th
Anniversary Championships and Reunion at MIT on April 2-3, 2004.
The official NCGA rankings are out this week and they look as follows:

It's too early to tell what these ranking really mean, but it is clear that there are a few teams that are going to be very close to each other this year. Hamline has already beaten La Crosse twice and they went out to SEMO and posted a 187.725. SUNY-Brockport is the front runner in the East and they haven't even competed last year's floor exercise national champion - Jordan Christiano. Ursinus has a strong first year student in Jessica Furman and junior Amanda Parker continues to light it up at Gustavus.
There are a few more details posted on the NCGA website under News - www.mit.edu/~ncga/news.html as well as links to InsideGymnastics magazine which is picking an NCGA athlete of the week each week. So far, Amanda Parker of Gustavus has been recognized twice, Merritt Tam of MIT once, and well as Alison Eagles from UW-Eau Claire.
Preparations continue in full-force for the Alumnae Reunion Reception and a registration card should be in the mail to all of the alumnae and coaches that we have information for by the end of this month. If you want to be a part of this and believe that we do not have your mailing address, please contact us at ncga-reunion@mit.edu
That's all for now. This weekend's action promises to be exciting! Get out and support your team! As always, check the website for updates, all of the nationals information is posted.
Kind regards,
Eduardo
