Columbia MM
S> Send Mode

quit

QUIT - leave SEND MODE

Usage: QUIT

The QUIT command ends SEND MODE without sending the outgoing message.
You will then be back at the previous level you were in, indicated by
  the MM> or Read> prompt.

If you accidentally QUIT, use the CONTINUE command to return to SEND
MODE. The most recent message that you did not SEND will still be
available. (Use the DISPLAY command at the Send> prompt to check.)

Using control-n, while still typing in the message, also QUITs.

The other way to leave SEND MODE is to send the message, by using the
SEND command at the Send> prompt.

Note that QUIT at TOP-LEVEL (MM> prompt) suspends MM. To suspend MM from
SEND MODE, use the command Z.
