The "Figure Bow" fairy started as one of the figures in this sketch. I was sketching figures for fun, that was about 15 minutes. Then I added a suggestion of wings, about 5 minutes. The next day I didn't feel like doing anything hard so I just took one that I liked and fixed it up. And The day after that, I was even less inspired, so I just cleaned it up a bit then wasted time trying out different colors. From sketch to final sketch was 3-4 hours.
