Changes of the Wind

Temperature varies with the changing wind
bringing clouds.  Animals run from falling rain,
home to await the coming spring.

Fields of flowers, the smell of spring;
Seeds blown adrift on soft gales of wind.
Winter retreats before the warm rain.

Weeping at the beauty, the clouds send rain
To strengthen and nurture the awakening spring.
Sighs of lovers float on the wind.

Awaken to spring and run in the rain
Laughing into the wind, banishing winters pain.
